The Dark
by Lemony Snicket
Read By Brayden, Dreavin and Trevon
BraydenLemony Snicket is a great author he writes a lot of great books like the series of unfortunate events. He is very famous because of the series listed. The bad beginning, the reptile room, the wide window, the miserable mill, the Austere academy, the Ersatz elevator, The vile village, etc. They all are great. The Dark is about Lazlo who is afraid of the dark so the Dark gives him a lite. So he doesn’t bother him anymore.
|
DreavinI think Lemony Snicket is a very inspiring author. He helps his readers get over many fears of young children. Like the book I read, The Dark. He helped his readers of this book get over the fear of the dark. In his very famous series: A series of unfortunate Events. It has many scary events in the book but it helps the reader learn how to get rid of their scary fears that they might have in common with the characters in the book. I loved the book I read by him and I will diffidently read a book by Lemony Snicket again.
|
TrevonI think Lemony Snicket is a very good author according to the book The Dark. The Dark that Lemony Snicket wrote was a very good book in my opinion. Lemony Snicket wrote the Series of Unfortunate Events. I haven’t read any of those books but I have heard that they are really good books. If you read The Dark you will probably want to read more of Lemony Snicket’s amazing books. Lemony Snicket’s real name is actually Daniel Handler. Lemony Snicket in my opinion is a very inspiring person with his books.

by Judy Schachner
Read by Camden and Gavin
CamdenWe did a power point presentation on the book SkippyJon Jones. The author is Judy Schachner. She was born in an Irish catholic community. She has written many books, like the SkippyJon Jones series, and Dewey Bob. She got her inspiration for SkippyJon Jones from her pet Siamese cat. She also has written the book, Dewey Bob. He is a raccoon that likes to find things and fix them up. But there is one thing he needs, a friend! The book I read was a good book and if you read it someday, then I hope you like it, too.

GavinCamden and I have just made a power point of SkippyjonJones Lost in spice so here is a little bit about the author her name is Judy Schachner. Did you know all of her animal books are based on her pets? Her two most famous pets are SkippyjonJones and Dewey bob. Some of themes of her stories are adventurous or exploring unimaginable places. She had been a writer for about six years. She has a very creative imagination she was born in Waltham Minnesota. She is my favorite author because her books are so funny she likes to be creative because all of the characters she makes are so creative so you should read some of her books I know you will probably love them too.
